Wheels of Faith Motorcycle Ministry Constitution

Preamble

Wheels of Faith Motorcycle Ministry (WOF M/M) exists to bring together Christian motorcycle enthusiasts in a ministry dedicated to evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship. The ministry aims to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and support each member’s Christian walk through shared experiences and camaraderie.

Article I: Name

The official name of the ministry is Wheels of Faith Motorcycle Ministry (WOF M/M). Various chapters and state organizations will use the following naming conventions:

  • National Organization: Wheels of Faith USA.
  • Regional Organizations: Wheels of Faith followed by the region (e.g., Wheels of Faith Southeast).
  • State Chapters: Wheels of Faith followed by the state name (e.g., Wheels of Faith Florida).
  • Local Chapters: Wheels of Faith followed by the city name (e.g., Wheels of Faith Orlando).

These names are for written use only and will not appear on patches.

Article II: Purpose

Wheels of Faith Motorcycle Ministry operates under three primary mandates:

  1. Fellowship: To promote camaraderie and Christian brotherhood among members through shared motorcycle riding and events.
  2. Discipleship: To encourage personal spiritual growth and a closer walk with Jesus Christ through daily Bible study, prayer, and church attendance.
  3. Evangelism: To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others, particularly with those in the motorcycle community, and to lead people to a personal relationship with Christ.

Article III: Statement of Fundamental Truths

The members of Wheels of Faith Motorcycle Ministry believe in the following sixteen fundamental truths:

  1. The Scriptures Inspired: The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired by God and are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
  2. The One True God: God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He exists as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
  3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.
  4. The Fall of Man: Man was created good and upright but fell through voluntary transgression, resulting in both physical and spiritual death (separation from God).
  5. The Salvation of Man: Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
    • Conditions of Salvation: Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
    • Evidence of Salvation: Inward evidence is the witness of the Spirit, while outward evidence is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
  6. The Ordinances of the Church:
    • Baptism in Water: Baptism by immersion is commanded in Scripture for those who repent and believe in Christ.
    • Holy Communion: The Lord’s Supper symbolizes sharing in the divine nature of Jesus, a memorial of His suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming.
  7. The Baptism in the Holy Ghost: All believers are entitled to and should seek the baptism in the Holy Ghost for power in life and service.
  8. The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Ghost: This is witnessed by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
  9. Sanctification: Sanctification is an act of separation from evil and dedication to God, realized through union with Christ and the daily offering of oneself to the Holy Spirit.
  10. The Church and Its Mission: The Church is the body of Christ, tasked with fulfilling the Great Commission.
  11. The Ministry: A divinely called ministry has been provided for leading the Church in evangelism, worship, and building a body of saints.
  12. Divine Healing: Healing is an integral part of the Gospel and available to all believers.
  13. The Blessed Hope: The resurrection of believers who have died and the translation of those who are alive at Christ’s coming.
  14. The Millennial Reign of Christ: The visible return of Christ to reign for 1,000 years on the earth.
  15. The Final Judgment: The wicked will be judged and consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire.
  16. The New Heavens and New Earth: Believers look forward to new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells.
